Description

Our
professional staff is certified
to meet the needs of individuals
through vocational and training
services.
This service focuses on the
individuals specific work
skills, social skills and
responsibilities needed to
succeed in a competitive work
setting. This service identifies
and develops vocational needs in
a job setting in the community.
Menu of Cost Free Services |
-
Individualized Employment Plan: A plan
will be developed that would include at a
minimum the obtaining of personal
information, completion of required forms
for service provision, selections from the
menu of services and a schedule of when
services will be provided.

Vocational Assessment:
This includes the completion
of a vocational evaluation
that includes sections on
interests, abilities,
attitudes, and when
applicable psychometric
testing. A written report of
results will be developed.

Job Shadowing: the
person served will observe
actual employment
opportunities of interest.

Job Try Out Experiences:
the person seeking
employment will participate
in actual paid employment
opportunities of interest.

Job Seeker Skills
Training: Those skills
needed to obtain employment
will be developed with the
person being served. These
skill areas include, but are
not limited to Resume
Development, Conducting a
Job Search, Completing
Employment related forms,
and Interviewing.

Work Readiness Training:
This service will assist in
the improvement or
development of skills that
may otherwise cause barriers
to employability. This may
involve training in areas of
social skills, behavioral
supports, driver education
preparation and personal
care.

Job Development &
Placement: This service
is to assist the person
served to maximize their
employability, independence,
and participation in
community employment. These
opportunities should reflect
their vocational choices.

Job Coaching: The Job
Coach will assist the Person
Being Served with learning
job duties at the actual
employment setting, on a one
to one basis. The Job Coach
will also assist the
individual with developing
relationships with fellow
employees, supervisors, and
when applicable, customers.
Systematic fading of the
amount of assistance needed
in maintaining employment is
the objective of the Job
Coach.

Job Retention: This
service is designed to
enhance the quality of the
employment opportunity for
the Person Served. This is
accomplished through
continual or as needed
follow up with the
individual and the employer
to ensure satisfaction.
Initiation of corrective
action such as job
restructuring and additional
training may be needed.

Job Enhancement: This
service may involve the
individual or employers
desire to increase or change
job duties of the Person
Served. This may be prompted
by a request for change in
an employment by the Person
Served. This request will be
reviewed and action steps
developed for a smooth
transition.

Supported
Self-Employment: Also
known as Micro Enterprising.
If this service is selected
a systematic process of
consultation, Development,
Feasibility, Implementation
and Follow Along will be
used to provide direction
and assistance in the
business operation process.

Transportation: This
may be provided, as needed,
to successfully obtain the
objectives of the Menu of
Services provided by Sandco
Workforce Solutions.
